"Relationships"

Available at Alchemy Lounge, Lehighton PA.
Magenta clematis climbing a trellis in the sun with plenty of shadows. The relationship between the flowers, structure, shadows, and light captivated me. I started by observing these vines in the garden, then created multiple small charcoal sketches to determine the design before blocking in and building layers of paint.
