10 Squared Project: "A Moment of Reverence"

The 10 Squared Project celebrates light, color, shadow in squared landscapes across the seasons in Amanda's Pennsylvania location. Follow Amanda D'Agostino Art on Instagram (@amandadagostinoart) and FB (@AmandaDPhotoArt) to see the newest paintings added to the collection as they are added. There is something here for everyone who loves nature and celebrating the beauty of local landscapes. All works are painted around all four sides, so no frame is needed.

The scene in this painting stopped Amanda in her tracks on a predawn walk around her property. She captured a quick photo, stopped long enough to observe the rich colors and deep atmosphere before heading home to create first a sketch, and then a violet color study. This painting was then developed based on that color study and the feeling of that moment.

This painting was developed at the same time and with the same palette as "Morning Flow," and they are designed to work together as a pair.
