The 10 Squared Project celebrates light, color,  and shadow in squared landscapes across the seasons in Amanda's Pennsylvania location. This hay bale scene plays with warm and cool greens, pushing and pulling with directional brush strokes and a bright early summer sky. The design of this painting is entirely from Amanda's imagination based on observation and reference photos of hay bales...in order to make the composition more interesting, she moved the bales, the land, and the back treeline around.
